Jobfit broadens healthcare services with acquisition of Northcare Jobfit Health Group (Jobfit) today announced that it has broadened its suite of healthcare services by acquiring the business operations of the Adelaide-based allied health business, Northcare Physiotherapy (Northcare). Northcare is a physiotherapy, sports injuries and rehabilitation business with approximately 80 staff located in 15 centres across South Australia and Sydney. Jobfit’s National General Manager, Steven Harvey, said the acquisition was part of a strategy to expand and diversify Jobfit’s comprehensive range of medical services. “Personal allied health services are a natural extension of our existing corporate healthcare operations and the acquisition of Northcare adds an important element to our overall strategy of diversification and expansion”. Northcare will retain all of its current locations, including its original flagship centre at Park Terrace, Salisbury. All employees of Northcare have accepted employment with Jobfit, taking its total workforce to 165 staff Australia-wide. “We acknowledge Northcare’s 15 year history and brand recognition, particularly in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. Northcare’s patients will continue to receive professional healthcare services from the dedicated staff they know and trust” said Mr Harvey. Jobfit expands network into Northern Queensland with acquisition of Occupational Medical Services Jobfit Health Group (Jobfit) has expanded its network of occupational medical services into Northern Queensland by acquiring the business operations of Gladstone-based Occupational Medical Services. Occupational Medical Services provides services such as pre-employment medicals, injury management and rehabilitation, MediPass assessments, drug and alcohol screening, and vaccination programs to a range of industries and clients in the Gladstone region. The business will be rebranded to Jobfit over the coming months. Jobfit’s National General Manager, Steven Harvey, said the acquisition was part of a strategy to expand and diversify Jobfit’s comprehensive range of medical services. "Our expansion into Gladstone extends our existing Queensland operations, where we already have offices in Brisbane.
