Business as usual at Jobfit

20 July 2021 | News

It is business as usual for our Jobfit teams (excluding SA).

In response to the increased risk of the spread of coronavirus, a number of stay-at-home and mandatory face mask orders have recently been introduced by State and Territory governments across Australia as outlined below.

As Jobfit provides essential medical services, it is business as usual for our teams (excluding SA). As such, our centres will remain open during the lockdown periods for medical assessments and injury management services.

In South Australia, our Jobfit centres remain open for any pre-employment medical or functional capacity assessment, and any mandatory licencing assessment that relates to the assessment of essential workers only.

In regards to spirometry, we have implemented a range of additional precautionary measures to ensure ongoing protection against COVID-19 for our staff and your workers. These measures are aligned with the updated position regarding spirometry from The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ).

If you have any of the following symptoms including fever, sore throat, shortness of breath OR you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having coronavirus, please DO NOT visit our Jobfit centres. Please phone ahead of your medical assessment letting our staff know so that we can reschedule your booking. Please also contact the employer who referred you to Jobfit for a medical assessment to advise them your booking has been rescheduled.
