What to expect
Each pre-employment medical will involve several varying aspects. These depend on the job you have applied (or employed) for, and the organisation.
You must complete a medical history questionnaire. Subsequently, you will undergo a medical examination by one of our qualified healthcare professionals.
Your medical examination will be comprehensive. From your blood pressure to your vision, heart, abdomen, limbs, and spine. You will also have your urine checked for sugar and blood. You may be required to remove your outer garments. Therefore, please wear appropriate underwear to your medical assessment.
Physically demanding jobs in remote and hot environments may require you to undertake a work fitness assessment (otherwise known as a functional capacity assessment). Therefore, appropriate loose-fitting clothing and closed in shoes (preferably runners) should be worn.
Please allow 30 minutes for a standard Jobfit pre-employment medical.
