Pre-employment medicals Gold Coast
Pre-employment medicals are performed to ensure a potential candidate is fit to work in a specific environment. This ensures the employee can fulfil the requirements of the role, and protect them from potentially harmful work environments.
Drug and alcohol screening Gold Coast
A statutory requirement in many industries, effective drug and alcohol screening improves workplace safety. In other words, the use of alcohol and recreational drugs can present a hazard in the workplace. We also provide Medical Review Officer (MRO) oversight.
Audiometry GOLD COAST
Audiometry tests are an assessment of hearing capability. The way in which an audiometry test is conducted will vary depending on the requirements of the exam. Generally speaking, audiometry tests will involve measuring an individual’s ability to hear sounds at varying intensity and tone.
Spirometry GOLD COAST
Spirometry is often included in pre-employment medicals as a means of assessing the overall respiratory function and capacity of potential employees. The test is straightforward, involving breathing into a mouth piece at certain intervals. It may be helpful in identifying any additional medical concerns such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Our centre is RSHQ/QIP accredited for spirometry.
Coal Board Medicals Gold Coast
The Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme (formerly Queensland Coal Board Medical) protects the health and safety of Queensland coal mine workers by ensuring they undergo periodic health assessments. Under the scheme, employers must ensure that health assessments are carried out on each person they employ, or are intending to employ, as a coal mine worker.
Injury Management GOLD COAST
We provide an integrated approach for injured workers with immediate access to medical personnel to ensure a prompt recovery. This ensures an optimal outcome for both the employee and employer. Above all, our doctors are experts in treating and returning injured workers back to the workplace.
Workplace vaccinations GOLD COAST
Immunisations, including influenza vaccines, are available for workers to assist with reducing sick leave absence in your workforce. We also provide Queensland Health Healthcare Workers vaccinations.
