Jobfit is an authorised reseller of Harrison Assessments, an assessment system used by organisations in over 70 countries worldwide. Harrison Assessments focus on providing the most accurate and effective assessments in the industry by dedicating a large portion of its resources to research, development and user friendly software engineering.

Their assessment systems provide decision analytics for selection, development, succession and career planning. Solutions include comprehensive and customizable recruitment, development and talent readiness technology systems for organisations of all sizes and industries. Assessing 175 traits and competencies, the Harrison Assessments questionnaire is available in 29 languages with over 6500 job specific success templates.

The SmartQuestionnaire™ is the foundation for all the reports. It measures each candidate’s work preferences, motivations, work values, personality, interpersonal skills, interests and attitudes for 175 traits. It cannot be fooled and has a consistency monitor to ensure the accuracy of candidate replies. The SmartQuestionnaire™ takes only 20 minutes to complete yet is the equivalent of a whole day’s multiple choice questioning. Each trait is scored on a scale of 0 to 10 indicating how important it is for the candidate to have that behaviour satisfied in a job. A 10 indicates an extremely high desire or preference for that trait and a 0 indicates no interest at all in using that trait.

Job Success Analysis report

The Job Success Analysis report (JSA) isolates up to 40 traits necessary for success in a job. The JSA traits are weighted according to the responsibilities and tasks required to do that job well, automatically ranking the traits as Essential, Desirable or as Traits to Avoid.

When a candidate’s work preferences are compared to the success traits for a job the JSA provides a prediction score of how suited the candidate is to the job, and highlights the candidates strengths and potential weaknesses.

The body of the JSA report also provides the candidate’s preference score for each trait and measures that against the benchmark for ideal performance in this type of role.
