Conducted by OEUK approved medical practitioners with specialised offshore training, OEUK assessments ensure workers are medically fit to work in remote and high-risk environments in the UK sector or the North Sea.

The assessment may also include review of fitness for HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) and BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training). Our OEUK accredited doctors are certified to complete these if required.
Successful candidates receive an OEUK certificate valid for up to two years, supporting workforce safety, compliance, and operational readiness in offshore environments.
Workers may be given certificates of shorter duration if they have medical conditions that need earlier review.

The Safer Together is an Australian member-led organisation comprising of Oil and Gas Exploration, Production Industry Operating companies and Contract Partner companies.
A Safer Together Medical Assessment Guideline has been developed to ensure consistency across all of the industries represented. This is not a statutory medical assessment, however it is designed to determine fitness to work in specific environments such as remote locations, in Australian offshore areas and include many different role requirements, e.g. safety critical roles, working in isolation, vehicle operation, emergency response, the use of respiratory protection and fitness for HUET and BOSIET training.
These medicals also assist contractors in being able to use this medical to access different sites without the need to complete a new medical for every site.
When booking a Safer Together medical, the “Safer Together Referral Form” must be completed and provided to Jobfit at the time of booking.
