About Your Medical Assessment

As part of your application for employment or deployment to site, you have been requested to undertake a MEDICAL ASSESSMENT with Jobfit Health Group.
The Jobfit medical assessment is part of the pre-employment or deployment process and is used to assess your suitability for the position and the physical work environment for which you are being considered. This ensures you are not at increased risk of injury to yourself or other employees in this position.
The medical assessment involves completing a medical history questionnaire and having a general medical examination. The assessment may (depending on the job) involve a chest x-ray, blood tests, urine drug screen, alcohol breath test, audiometry (hearing test), spirometry (lung test), manual handling assessment, fitness test, other imaging and/or ECG.
The purpose of the medical assessment is NOT to treat health issues that are concerning you. Our practitioner will provide you with a referral or duty of care letter to your GP should this be necessary. The medical determination for this assessment cannot be used for any other job you might be applying for. The health assessment may take up to 2 hours.
To ensure you are not delayed upon arrival for your health assessment, please complete the online Medical History Questionnaire prior to your scheduled appointment.
